Take this Relationship Advice if you Believe that We’re on the Brink of World War III
How to end ghosting, gaslighting, stashing, and all the other crappy dating behaviors
Here on Medium, I follow the rules. I know that to be successful on Medium you need to follow the sort-of unspoken rule of carving out your niche, your genre, and sticking to it.
My niche is relationship and dating advice: “Do this, this, and this to have a successful relationship.”
But as I read about Ukraine and see the possibility of World War III, I’ve had to ask myself, “Am I writing about frivolous stuff?”
Suddenly, I feel rebellious. I have the urge to write about something other than dating and relationships.
I have the urge to write about Audie Murphy.
So today I’m going to defy the Medium algorithms to write about Audie. But by the end, you’ll see that, from Audie’s story, we can learn the most important relationship lessons I could ever hope to share.
Audie’s Origins
I was hiking in Virginia when I learned about Audie. It was the most boring scenery you can imagine: A leafless tree followed by another leafless tree.
