Brett! My first instinct was to laugh, because you wrote this in such a humorous way. It took me a moment to recognize...holy crap. That's...some crappy stuff going on there. With that sort of history...we can definitely become suspicious of anyone who drives an automatic Wrangler, treating anyone with an automatic Wrangler as an instant 'red flag'. It becomes harder and harder to give people chances, to prevent ourselves from saying, "I know someone who did that who was awful", and instead, every time we meet someone new, try very hard to give them a fair chance, to not make inferences based on past associations, based on what someone else did. Geezus. I'd like to learn more about how your dad handled that in the aftermath. That must've been a doozy.
