Exactly! We have to keep questioning the numbers instead of taking them at face value, just as surely as we would some juicy rumor that gossips are spreading. Who said ém, what are they based on, when were they said. It seems like the latest numbers suggest a trend that the divorce rate is falling, but so is the number of marriages. We can only speculate--maybe less people are getting married because they're becoming more careful, so only the more careful people are getting married and they're the ones who have a better shot at making it last...but it's early days with that trend...we'll have to look back 40 years from now and see:)
