For sure! Sometimes they have a full plate and only have room for dessert. If we don't want to just be dessert, if we don't want to only be squeezed in during the three hours they have free here or there, it's probably best we avoid those who will treat us as such. They're not 'bad', but they're possibly busy meeting others' needs and aren't quite able/willing yet to add on a partner's needs for a while while they're adjusting to their new lives.
