I majored in biology and studied physiology, so I recognize it's not correct to say there is a 'need to drain some testosterone'. Hopefully, other readers understood the intended meaning, that hormones and other physiological processes can influence the desire to have sex, but that the physical act of sex does not meet the psychological need for love/belongingness.
