I think it's cool that you don't assume that because you had bad experiences that everyone else will.

Just because one person is allergic to grass doesn't mean the rest of us can't have picnics:)

I'm so curious to hear examples of what you wrote--that what yáll were saying didn't match up with what you're doing. Was it like...saying 'one day we'll bike across America' but then neither of you were doing the training--that sort of thing? Perhaps that would be a good piece for you to write so we can learn what that looks like.
