Hello, Im Rj--I too could never be a pilot--for the same reason! Just driving around in the sky sounds boring after the novelty wears off:)

I think it's great you are not having to experience being unable to do a job/career that is aligned with your nature. I wonder...what would it be like for you if you had to give up your software engineer job and do something day in, day out that didn't suit your nature?

I have friends who were in well-paying and prestigious careers in other countries. When they came to the U.S. they ended up taking jobs that weren't in their natures. Imagine being a medical doctor who then becomes a taxi driver.

So...I hope you can see that this topic may not be relevant to you, and that's quite ok.

This piece is about only one (of many) reasons that some (not all) men are struggling.

This piece isn't meant to say that "all men have the same nature".

And if you zoom out a bit, you may see that this piece is only using some men's preference for, say, leisure time or jobs in the outdoors or military as an example of a larger issue. It's to say that if a human's nature (whatever that nature is most suited for) is suppressed in some way, there might be some negative (unconscious, subtle) side effects.

Thank you for reading Im Rj!
