Hello, Sandy--I'm happy to hear you gave this guy a chance. I like that term -- orange flag. It's hard to know if it's something we just don't like but just need to learn to deal with rather than kick someone to the curb for not exactly meeting our preferences vs it really is a hint that something is awry. A guy recently told me that he wouldn't date someone who didn't have kids, too. I don't have kids, so that ruled me out. I'm not one to be overly-sensitive, but I was aware that he must be making some assumptions about someone like me who didn't choose to have kids. But that's no different than me making assumptions about someone who has never been married...so...we can only hope that someone like you will be willing to take a chance:) Thank you for reading and sharing your experience! --Lee
