Hello, Unbreakable--What an apt name:) I love ignoring the people who say "it can't be done". Maybe they're right that it can't be done. Or maybe they just mean it can't be done by them. Maybe they mean it can't be done by ordinary humans. Lately, many people tell me that long-lasting, happy, healthy marriages 'can't be done'. I'm feeling that urge to see if they're right, or whether they need to be shown otherwise. I think...it's just a matter of figuring out how. It was never 'You can't be a lawyer' but rather 'You have to figure out how'. Same with dating. You just have to figure out how, what works for you, what doesn't. It's been found that people with higher 'mental toughness' are persistent at solving problems. When something doesn't work, they make the effort to learn somethig new to try, then they try that, and they keep learning/trying until something finally does work. Same with you. You'll learn how to get what you want, and then you'll get what you want.
