How Your Friends — or Your Mom — Are Ruining Your Relationships

If you have wanted to be in a good, solid, healthy relationship but haven’t been able to pull it off, here’s a possible reason: Your friends are the problem. Or, it might even be your mom.

I know this sounds crazy, but let me show you two ways that might be the case. Plus, I’ll show you how you can prevent this problem from happening to you.

All he’s good for is sex and paying the bills

Maybe you’ve heard the sayings “Bros before hoes” or “Sisters before misters”.

The sayings imply that friendships should take precedence over the person you’re dating. That you shouldn’t ditch your friends every time the person you’re dating crooks his little finger and says “Come hither”.

On the surface, that makes sense. Relationship advice givers constantly harp on the need to make sure you’ve got a great social network to be happy and healthy. That way, you’re not relying too heavily on the person you’re dating to meet all your needs.

Let’s probe this.
