It was a bit of a wake-up call. There are a lot of reasons relationship don't work out, for sure, but I had to admit that I had not worked as hard at relationships as I did at work. Now, if my relationships don't end as I would wish, I can at least say I did everything I could, that I truly worked hard at problem-solving it, something I couldn't say in the past.
