Lena Ann! You're not one of them! You're an outsider with them, but an insider with us! I bet none of them can write in such a genuine, self-reflective, thought-provoking fashion. I have moved a lot so I've seen the pattern enough to know that those kinds of wives/moms do not want a single woman like me entering their nests. I think they think I'll steal their husbands. Or that I'll put the notion in their husbands' heads that divorce is an option. I think they think I'm 'contagious':)
