My 'judgy' equivalent: When a financial investment adviser drives an expensive car and takes prospective clients to dinners at expensive restaurants. On one hand, we want symbols that the adviser is successful at increasing wealth, but on the other hand, you know that adviser will charge you a lot for the adviser to be able to afford that car and meal.
