A professor gives 3 reasons that ‘kids today’ are hard core
I keep hearing how the ‘kids today’ are fragile snowflakes, but I disagree. I think they’re pretty hard core. I’m a professor, so I have enough interaction with the ‘kids today’ to speak on the topic. Also, I’m a former bad-ass, so I think that puts me in a position to weigh whether kids today are hard core or not.
I’ll give you a little background about me to present my hard core creds. Then I’ll describe three difficulties that the ‘kids today’ cope with that support my argument that they are, indeed, quite hard core.
Along the way, you’ll learn what I think is the one word that makes a person hard core.
Former Bad Ass
When a crime wave hit a small town in the Midwest, the police chief could send a request to us. My team would go to the town to flush out the criminal elements that had moved into town and taken over. We’d go undercover and figure out who was causing the wave, sometimes a supplier from larger cities, sometimes the person who learned how to make meth and taught everyone else.
