So you've noticed this too?! It's just happened so many times that I started putting two and two together, but it's not like I can ask them, "Hey, does the reason you haven't been willing to greet me and welcome me as a new person have anything to do with me being a single woman?" I mean, if they'd gotten to know me a bit and realized they just didn't like me, fair enough. But this started happening on day 1, before I even opened my mouth so they didn't seem to make decisions about whether I was someone they did/didn't want to say 'hi' to based on anything I said or did. It seems like the only thing they knew about me was that I was a woman not wearing a wedding ring. But yeah, I would like to know if there were some other reasons this has happened repeatedly. Maybe there's a viewpoint I haven't considered.
