Something I read recently seemed to indicate that our decision to 'take the bad with the good' is based on frequency rather than severity. If there is a pattern of bad, then forgiveness is less likely. Seems like a one-time bad, even of great severity, is more likely to be accepted and forgiven.

Here's to hoping we have a pattern of good writing with only occasional clonkers:):)
