That's what I'm seeing, too, Bob. She was hurt (or blown off) before so may become so wary/scared of getting hurt that she's now not interpreting things in what might be a more reasonable way. She then accidentally becomes the person perpetuating bad connections...hopefully she'll learn to give the benefit of the doubt...
