The dating world is a hot mess.

Men think women are only after their wallets. Women worry that men are hobosexuals or only want situationships.

New words have to be created to describe the awful ways daters treat each other: Ghosting, stealthing, cushioning, paperclipping, stashing, benching, spinning straws, spindle pricking, tower baiting, Goldilocks-ing, and blue bearding.

Geezus.

If you’re stuck in this mess, you may think a healthy, happy, long-lasting relationship is an impossible goal.

When I hear “impossible”, my ears prick up. I am fascinated.

That’s why I do what I do. I use psychology to help people who are chasing hard-to-get goals.

Part of what I do is study the elites — the people who get what so many want but so few get.

We look at the actions the elites take, the decisions they make. Then we teach what the elites did to those who want to be elite. This way, seemingly-ordinary humans have a chance at succeeding when most fail.
