You're killing me, Jesse. I want to cling to the belief that I helped this guy to not cheat, helping him see he could just do the honorable thing and break up rather than cheat. But who am I kidding. It's quite possible he would have strayed (such a softer word than cheated) if I hadn't walked in on him. But then again...maybe 'strayers' kind of...unconsciously do those sort of 'shifty behaviors', and keep 'almost getting caught', almost like they want to be caught because--though they're strayers--they still have a conscience to feel guilty. but then...their partners never call them out on their shifty behaviors...
